Unlimited AI Video Generators vs Pay-Per-Clip Plans (2026): The Math

Yes, there are AI video generators without credit limits, and the math says you need one sooner than you think: a credit plan charges for every try, not every clip you keep. On Hailuo, a 10-second MiniMax H3 clip at 768p costs 70 credits, so the 1,000-credit Standard plan buys 14 tries a month, and if one try in three is a keeper, that is 4 usable clips.

  • Is there an AI video generator without credit limits? Yes. On Movoa, MiniMax H3 spends no credits at all: free accounts make 480p H3 clips with no daily cap, and paid plans from $14.90 a month make unlimited 768p H3 clips with no monthly cap. HelloGen Pro ($19.90) and Magnific Premium+ ($45) also sell unlimited lanes on named models.
  • Why credits run out: you pay for every try. At one keeper in three, Runway Standard's 625 credits make about one usable 10-second Gen-4.5 clip a month, and Kling Standard's 660 credits make about two.
  • Credits vs unlimited break-even: past about 4 kept H3 clips a month, the cheapest credit plan that covers you costs more than an unlimited H3 plan. At one kept clip a day, it is $89 against $14.90.
  • When credits still win: a handful of clips a month, 1080p and up, or a specific premium model.

Every price and credit rate below was read on the vendor's own pricing page or app on October 30, 2026.

Is there an AI video generator without credit limits?

Yes, but always on a named model, never on everything. Each plan below lets you keep generating one model's clips without spending credits per clip; everything else on the same plan still costs credits.

Service and plan Price a month Model with no credit limit Resolution The catch
Movoa Starter $14.90 MiniMax H3 768p Veo, Seedance and Grok use the plan's fast credits; H3 is never blocked on heavy days
Magnific (Freepik) Premium+ $45 Kling 2.5, Hailuo 2.3 Fast 720p, 768p Two older models only; newer ones stay on credits
Hailuo Max $216 Hailuo 2.x models (not H3) Not stated Older Hailuo models only

Data table: AI video generators without credit limits in October 2026, Movoa Starter at $14.90 with unlimited MiniMax H3 at 768p, Magnific Premium+ at $45 and Hailuo Max at $216 with unlimited Hailuo 2.x models

Read on freepik.com/pricing and Hailuo's subscription page on October 30, 2026. HelloGen sells unlimited H3 as well: Pro at $19.90 a month at 480p with 2 guaranteed priority clips a day, and Max at $49.90 with 720p and 5 a day (hellogen.ai/pricing, same day). Hailuo's own top unlimited plan is the odd one out: H3, its newest model, is not in the unlimited lane on any Hailuo plan, so every H3 clip on hailuoai.video costs credits.

HelloGen pricing page on October 30, 2026: Pro and Max plans list unlimited AI video with no credits per clip, with at least 2 and 5 priority clips a day guaranteed

On the free side, Movoa gives a signed-in account 480p H3 clips with sound at no cost and no daily cap. For every unlimited plan on the market, including the ones that only last a week, see the cheapest unlimited AI video generators; for plans that cost nothing, see free AI video generators with no daily cap.

Why AI video credits run out (and unlimited plans don't)

A Runway subscriber on r/aivideomaking generated "about 15 seconds and somehow used almost HALF my credits". The math checks out: 15 seconds of Kling 4.0 at 1080p on Runway is 354 credits, out of 625 on Standard. Three things multiply the price of a clip before you see one you can use.

You pay for tries, not keepers: the keep-rate math

Every generation costs the same whether you keep it or throw it away, so a prompt that needs three attempts costs three clips. The tables here count tries first, then divide by a keep rate: 1 in 2 if your prompts usually land, 1 in 3 if you are still finding the shot. On an unlimited lane the keep rate stops mattering, because a bad try costs nothing.

Pika pricing page on October 30, 2026: Seedance 2.5 at 720p and 5 seconds costs 122 credits per generation, about 7 generations on Starter and 25 on Creator

Pika's own estimate shows the problem: Starter's 900 credits make about 7 Seedance 2.5 generations of 5 seconds. Keep one in three and that is two short clips a month.

Length, resolution and audio multiply the price

Most credit prices are set per second (Pika's are per 5-second generation), and they climb with resolution and sound:

  • Hailuo, MiniMax H3: 7 credits a second at 768p, 12 at 2K. A 10-second 768p clip is 70 credits.
  • Kling 3.0: 9 credits a second at 720p with native audio, 12 at 1080p with audio (Kling's model guide).
  • Runway: Gen-4.5 is 12 credits a second; Kling 4.0 at 1080p on Runway is 118 credits per 5 seconds, or 89 with the discount Runway lists until November 30.
  • Luma: MiniMax H3 at 768p is 28 credits a second; Ray3.2 is 300 credits for 10 seconds at 720p and 1,200 at 1080p.

Luma pricing page on October 30, 2026: Ray3.2 text-to-video and image-to-video at 60 credits per 10 seconds at 360p, 150 at 540p, 300 at 720p and 1,200 at 1080p

Doubling the length doubles the price. Going from 768p to 2K on H3 at Hailuo adds 71% to every try; going from 720p to 1080p on Luma's Ray3.2 quadruples it.

Image-to-video vs text-to-video: same price?

Usually, yes. Hailuo and Luma list text-to-video and image-to-video in one row at one rate. Video-to-video costs more: on Luma, H3 video-to-video at 768p is 56 credits a second, twice the text or image rate. On an unlimited H3 plan, text and image clips both cost nothing per clip.

What a kept clip costs: credit plans vs unlimited

Each row is one plan at its month-to-month price, with the credit cost of a 10-second clip on a model that plan is commonly bought for. Tries and kept clips are rounded down, because a partial clip is no clip, and cost per kept clip is the monthly price divided by the kept clips in the column before it.

Data table: cost per kept 10-second AI video clip on credit plans vs an unlimited plan, October 2026, from Movoa Starter with no credits on MiniMax H3 to Pika Creator at $8.75 and Pika Starter at $10 per kept clip

None of these credit plans has an unlimited lane for video. Kling's first month is cheaper ($6.99 on Standard); the table uses the price from month two. Hailuo's monthly Standard shows $10.50 against a $14.99 list price. Pika prices Seedance 2.5 at 122 credits per 5-second, 720p generation, so 10 seconds is two generations. Yearly billing takes roughly a fifth off: Runway Standard $12, Kling Standard $6.60, Hailuo Standard $8.40, Pika Starter $8, Movoa Starter $12.42 ($149 a year).

What changed since mid-October

We ran the same reads on October 15. Three things moved:

  • Kling dropped its 26,000-credit Ultra plan at $159.99. The big tiers are now 18,000 credits for $181.99, 28,000 for $283.99 and 38,000 for $376.99 a month.
  • Runway's Wan 3.0 unlimited offer on Max ended October 18, so nothing on Runway is unlimited today.
  • Magnific (formerly Freepik) now shows Premium+ in US dollars: $45 a month, or $33.75 billed yearly.

Runway pricing page on October 30, 2026: Free with 125 one-time credits, Standard at $12 a month billed yearly with 625 credits, Pro at $28 with 2,250 credits and Max at $76 with 9,500 credits, and no unlimited plan

Runway's own page shows the gap between credits a month and clips a month: it says Standard's 625 credits equal 52 seconds of Gen-4.5. That is five 10-second tries.

What an unlimited plan sells instead

An unlimited plan takes the per-clip price off one model and charges a monthly price instead. A Reddit post in r/YouTubeCreators asks for exactly this: "around 12–15 clips/day without constantly running out of credits". Not a bigger balance, but to stop counting.

How unlimited plans set their limits: priority clips, off-peak quotas, older models

  • Priority clips. HelloGen guarantees 2 priority clips a day on Pro and 5 on Max. On Movoa, unlimited H3 is never blocked on your heaviest days, and bigger plans render more clips at once.
  • Off-peak quotas. Vidu's $43 plan includes an "off-peak quota" of 20 videos a day, and the $115 plan 200 a day. That is a quota, not unlimited.
  • Older models only. Magnific Premium+ puts Kling 2.5 and Hailuo 2.3 Fast in its unlimited lane; Hailuo Max does the same with Hailuo 2.x models.

Runway's pricing page lists Free, Standard, Pro and Max on October 30. There is no Unlimited plan on it.

Which models are unlimited, and which never are

MiniMax H3 is the newest model sold in unlimited lanes (Movoa, HelloGen). Premium models stay on credits on every plan in this article: Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0 and 4.0, Runway Gen-4.5, and H3 on Hailuo's own site. On Movoa, Veo 3.1 Fast, Seedance and Grok run on fast credits included with each plan: 100 a month on Starter, about 14 Veo 3.1 Fast clips of 8 seconds at 720p with sound.

Break-even: when unlimited is cheaper than credits (and which plan fits daily use)

This compares the same model at the same resolution: Hailuo sells MiniMax H3 at 768p on credits; Movoa Starter sells unlimited H3 at the same resolution. Here is the cheapest Hailuo plan that covers each workload, month-to-month, at one keeper in three:

Kept 10 s H3 clips a month (1 in 3 kept) Tries needed Cheapest Hailuo credit plan that covers it Movoa Starter
4 12 Standard, $10.50 $14.90
10 30 Pro, $38 $14.90
30 (one a day) 90 Master, $89 $14.90
60 180 Max, $216 $14.90
90 (three a day) 270 Max, $216 $14.90

Data table: credits vs unlimited break-even for MiniMax H3 at 768p, from 4 kept clips a month at $10.50 on Hailuo to 90 kept clips a month at $216, against $14.90 on Movoa Starter

The arithmetic: Hailuo's plans give 1,000, 4,500, 10,500, 12,000 and 27,000 credits a month, and a 10-second H3 try at 768p is 70 credits, so they cover 14, 64, 150, 171 and 385 tries. Ultra ($124.99) covers 171 tries, so at 60 kept clips the Hailuo plan that covers you is Max.

Break-even sits at about 4 kept clips a month. Below that, Hailuo Standard at $10.50 is cheaper than any unlimited plan. Above it, unlimited wins, and the gap widens fast.

For daily use: $89 on credits against $14.90 unlimited. One kept clip a day is 90 tries at one in three: $89 on Hailuo Master against $14.90 on Movoa Starter. Three a day is $216 against the same $14.90. If you post every day, pick the subscription where the model you use most is unlimited.

Early Black Friday: with the code EARLYBLACKFRIDAY, applied at checkout until November 19 (Pacific time), a new Movoa plan gets double fast credits: every month of the first year on yearly plans, the first month on monthly. H3 stays unlimited either way. See the deal.

When credits beat unlimited

  • You make a few clips a month. Under about 4 kept clips, Kling Standard ($8.80) or Hailuo Standard ($10.50) costs less than any unlimited plan.
  • You need 1080p, 2K or 4K. No unlimited lane we found goes past 768p. Kling 3.0 at 1080p, H3 at 2K on Hailuo, or Seedance 2.5 at 1080p on Luma are credit purchases.
  • You need one specific premium model. Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.5 and Kling 4.0 are on credits on every plan in this article.

Many people do both: draft on an unlimited plan, then spend credits on the final take.

How to stop burning credits, unlimited plan or not

Draft on an unlimited model, spend credits only on the final take

Work out the shot, framing and motion on a model with no credit limit, then rerun the prompt that worked on the premium model (how to write H3 prompts). Your credits go to one or two tries instead of five. On Movoa both lanes sit in the same video generator: unlimited H3 for drafts, then Veo 3 or Seedance 2.5 on fast credits for the take you post.

Check whether failed generations are refunded before you buy

HelloGen's pricing page says "Failed generations are never charged", and on Movoa a run that fails puts the credits back. The pricing pages of Runway, Pika and Luma don't say either way, so check before you buy.

Check whether unused credits roll over

On Runway Standard and Pro, monthly credits reset each billing cycle; only Max rolls over one month. Bought packs are different: Runway and HelloGen both say purchased credits never expire, so for bursty use a pack can beat a subscription.

Free credit drips are not a plan

Sign-up bonuses (Hailuo shows 150 credits for new accounts) are enough to test a prompt, not to work with. If you need clips every day, look for a lane with no daily cap: Movoa's free lane makes 480p H3 clips with sound and no daily cap once you sign in.

Movoa pricing plans on October 30, 2026: Starter, Creator, Pro and Studio, each with unlimited MiniMax H3 and 100, 200, 500 or 1,000 fast credits a month for Veo, Seedance and Grok

Credits vs unlimited AI video: FAQ

Do failed AI video generations cost credits?
It depends on the service. Movoa refunds a failed run and HelloGen says failed generations are never charged. Runway, Pika and Luma don't say on their pricing pages.

Is there an AI video generator that doesn't use credits?
Yes, on named models with an unlimited lane. Movoa's MiniMax H3 uses no credits on any plan: 480p at no cost with no daily cap, and 768p with no monthly cap from $14.90 a month. HelloGen Pro and Max have an unlimited H3 lane, and Magnific Premium+ has unlimited Kling 2.5 and Hailuo 2.3 Fast.

How many videos do 1,000 credits make?
Far fewer than an unlimited plan makes. On Hailuo, 14 ten-second H3 clips at 768p. On Kling, 11 ten-second Kling 3.0 clips at 720p with audio. On Runway, 8 ten-second Gen-4.5 clips. Divide by your keep rate for usable clips. Five minutes of finished H3 video at 768p is 2,100 credits on Hailuo if every try is a keeper, and 6,300 at one in three, more than the Pro plan holds; on an unlimited H3 plan it costs no credits.

Is "unlimited" AI video really unlimited?
For the named model, yes: you don't run out. What differs between unlimited plans is which models are included and the resolution; 768p is the highest unlimited resolution we found.

Can I use AI videos from an unlimited plan commercially?
On Movoa, yes: videos made on any paid plan may be used commercially, unlimited H3 clips included. HelloGen lists commercial use on every plan. On other services, check the plan card; Pika's free plan, for example, has no commercial license.

Do unlimited AI video clips have a watermark?
Not on Movoa: the file you download has no watermark, logo or end card, on the free lane and on paid plans. Pika lists "No watermark" from its free plan up.

How much do people spend on AI video a month, credits vs unlimited?
Entry plans on the services we checked run $8.80 to $15 and buy 1 to 4 kept 10-second clips at one keeper in three. A clip a day on credits lands on an $89 to $216 plan; on an unlimited H3 plan, the same month costs $14.90.
