Movoa is an AI video generator at movoa.ai. Making a video means sending us a prompt, sometimes a photo, and getting a clip back, so most of this policy is about those three things: what you type, what you upload and what we generate for you. It also covers your account, payments and the measurement that keeps the site running.
Movoa is run by a sole proprietor, who is the controller of the personal data described here. Send privacy questions, access or deletion requests and complaints to support@movoa.ai. The about page shows who runs the service and which video models it offers.
When you make a video
When you have an account
When you use the free lane without signing up
We place a random identifier in your browser and count free jobs against it and against your network address, so one person cannot drain the shared free queue. It is not tied to a name or email unless you later sign up in the same browser.
Collected automatically
Pages viewed, the site that sent you, browser and device type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and error logs.
Your prompts, photos and videos are not used to train AI models. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Checkout runs on Stripe. You type card details into Stripe's own page; Movoa receives the result of the payment and a masked card reference for your billing history, never the full card number.
Each provider receives only what its task needs:
| Provider | What it does for Movoa |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Card payments and subscription billing |
| Vercel | Hosts the website and application |
| Cloudflare | DNS, content delivery, storage of uploads and generated videos, and the support@movoa.ai mailbox routing |
| Managed PostgreSQL host | Account, job and billing records |
| Email delivery service | Sign-in, verification, receipt and account emails |
| Analytics tools | Page views and site performance |
| Sign-in providers such as Google | Confirm who you are when you choose to sign in with them |
| AI video model providers | Generate the clip you asked for |
When you run a job, your prompt and any uploaded photo are sent, through the API services that route our requests, to the company that makes the model you picked — for example MiniMax, xAI, Google or ByteDance. Those providers may run their own safety screening on what they receive and handle it under their own terms.
Movoa and the providers above work across several countries, including the United States, so your data may be processed outside the country you live in. Where it leaves the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on the safeguards our providers put in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Account details | While the account is open; deleted within 30 days after you delete it |
| Prompts, uploads and generated videos | While the account is open, unless you remove them sooner; deleted within 30 days of account deletion |
| Free-lane jobs run without an account | Only as long as needed to deliver the clip and enforce the free-lane limits |
| Payment and tax records | As long as tax and accounting law requires, typically up to 7 years |
| Security and server logs | Up to 12 months |
| Support emails | Up to 2 years |
When a period ends, the data is deleted or reduced to statistics that no longer identify anyone.
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and California law — you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to a use of it, take it to another service, and withdraw consent you gave earlier.
Under the GDPR we rely on four legal bases: performing our contract with you (running jobs, billing), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, product measurement), legal obligations (tax records) and your consent where we ask for it.
Account emails — sign-in links, receipts, renewal notices and security alerts — come with having an account. Promotional emails, such as a reminder about an unfinished checkout, include an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect account emails.
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your settings, count free-lane use and measure traffic. If you block them, you may be signed out and the free lane may not work.
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, stored files sit in access-controlled storage, and production credentials are limited to the people and services that need them. No online service is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you, and the supervisory authority where the law requires, within 72 hours of finding out.
Movoa is for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think a minor is using the service, write to us and we will close the account and delete its data.
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. For changes that reduce your rights, we email account holders at least 15 days before they apply.
